All General Practice Specialty Training (ST1) and Targeted GP Training (TGPT) programmes in the UK are recruited to via a national process managed by the GP National Recruitment Office (GPNRO). It should be noted that the GPNRO does not manage recruitment for ACF, GHF or GP recruitment initiatives local to any of the four UK nations.

Please refer to the General Practice ST1 Person Specification and the Targeted GP Training Person Specification for eligibility criteria and read the immigration statement in the NHS Medical Specialty Training Applicant Handbook 2020 which will apply to doctors considering entry to programmes starting from August 2020.
